Provider selection
In order to view a timetable you must let the system know which providers you wish to see in this timetable.
You do this by first selecting one or several providers of choice and then clicking one of the timetable display buttons, for example "Calendar Timetable".
Here follows an explanation on the various ways of selecting providers.
Tip: You can combine different kinds of items in the same timetable.
For example, you want the timetable of a provider and a room: first you select the provider, then you click the "Room" tab, select the room and finally click the display button to open the timetable.
Steps
- Click the tab "My selection" and then the Provider tab.
- Tick the boxes to select the providers you want to see in the timetable.
Select all
Tick the checkbox at the top left to select all the providers at once.
Deselect all
Untick the box at the top left to deslect all the providers at once.
Remove Providers from the selection
Click this button to remove a provider from the selection.
First tick the boxes of rooms you wish to remove and then click the "Remove selected Provider from list" button.
For example in the figure the user wishes to remove Riana and Caroline from the selection.
In the figure the providers Riana and Caroline are no longer visible in the selection.
Tip: If you removed a provider by mistake you can recover it by using the "Expand selection: Provider" button.
Quickly select multiple rooms
- Place the mouse on the checkbox of first provider you wish to tick.
- Keep the left mouse button pressed.
- Drag the mouse down to the box of the last provider you wish to tick.
- You see the boxes of providers you selected are ticked.
- When you release the mouse button the boxes remain ticked.
Expand selection
Use this button to go to the "Expand selection" tab then tab "Provider" where you can add providers to the selection.
See explanation in Medewerkerselectie uitbreiden.
Sorting buttons
If the providers list is very long it makes it more difficult to find a particular provider.
Labels such as Provider code and Provider types function as sorting buttons that enable you to sort in alphabetical order.
In the figure the user has clicked the Provider type label and the providers are in the alphabetical order of Provider types, from a to z.
Tip: Click the Provider types label once more in order to sort the providers in reverse order of Provider types, from z to a.
Filter buttons
If the list of providers is very long even the sorting buttons might not help you to find a provider.
Click the filter button at the top left or the second row from the top of a specific column in order to open a form in which you can search explicitly.
In the figure the user has clicked the filter button of the Provider type column and has entered a search request in the form: The column 'Provider types', with search condition 'contains' and value 'study', in order to find all providers with 'XYZ' in the name of the Provider types.
Click the 'Filter' button in the form for the system to execute the search request.
In the figure the system answers: 'X of Y items are shown' and now only displays providers with "XYZ" Room types.
Tip: Besides search condition 'contains' you can also search with: 'is', 'starts with', 'ends with', 'does not contain', 'is not', 'does not start with', 'does not end with' and 'is empty'.
Tip: If the form is no longer open you can click the 'Clear filter' at the top left to undo the search request.
